Student Organizations & Activities

Make the most of your time as a student at GW and SEAS.  Join a SEAS student organization, participate in activities across campus, or join your national professional society and meet engineers and computer scientists already working in your field.

SEAS Student Organizations

Be A Part of It! Find an engineering or computer science-related organization that interests you.  Extra-curricular activities are a good way to meet friends and round out your college experience.

Undergraduate Student Services Funding Request

The SEAS Associate Dean's Office provides funding support for SEAS undergraduate students through both individual professional development/conference travel awards and co-sponsorship of various programs. For more detailed information regarding eligibility visit the funding request page.

GW Center for Student Engagement

The Center for Student Engagement (CSE) hosts student organizations, leadership programs, residential engagement programs, and other resource programs, including First Generation Student Support, Transfer Connect, and the Transfer Engagement and Acclimation Mentorship (TEAM) Program.

Multicultural Student Services Center

The Multicultural Student Services Center (MSSC) is part of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement in the Office of the Provost. MSSC facilitates student leadership development and provides academic support, diversity training, and cultural programming through strategic partnerships and innovative programs.  A range of GW student organizations—such as the International Students Community, the GW NAACP, and many others—also exist, and you can find out more about them by visiting the Center for Student Engagement website.
