GW Innovation Center

Creative Inquiry and Design

Part of GW Engineering and the broader innovation ecosystem at GW, Innovation Center programs and interdisciplinary makerspace, M06, give problem-solvers room to explore challenges creatively.  We welcome all members of the GW community.  In fact, building community is a big part of how we support innovation.

Programs

Our programs are designed to meet makers and problem solvers where they are, teaching tech and design basics that center people and the planet. Open Studio workshops happen on Fridays – take one, teach one!

Framework

Our framework is all about applying design principles and processes to ask questions in creative ways. We slow the rush to solve by taking time to deeply understand problems from lived experience and multiple perspectives. We think with our hands and use human-centered and circular design to prioritize people and our planet.
