CubeSat Information Meeting

Thursday, September 21, 2017
11:30pm - 12:30pm
SEH, Lehman Auditorium

GW is building the satellite for the CubeSat that is scheduled to be launched in 2019.  This will be GW's first CubeSat, and possibly the first one launched by any Washington, D.C. entity (excluding NASA). GW is partnering on the project with the U.S. Naval Academy and the TEC University in Costa Rica.  TEC University is responsible for the scientific mission, on which GW will also collaborate.  The GW CubeSat team is looking for both undergraduate and graduate students from various departments, particularly from the CS department.  Students may apply for different job positions that the Cubesat team will post on Handshake after the information session. Faculty also are invited to attend.  For more information, please contact Mr. Jonathan Kolbeck.
