I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University in 2006 under the advisement of Dr. Wei Zhao and Dr. Jianer Chen, and my B.S. in Computer Science from Peking University, China, in 2001. Before joining GWU in 2008, I was an assistant professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. My research interests focus on databases, information security and privacy, and distributed systems. I am teaching CSci 2441W and CSci 4541/6541 this Spring semester.
