I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University in 2006 under the advisement of Dr. Wei Zhao and Dr. Jianer Chen, and my B.S. in Computer Science from Peking University, China, in 2001. Before joining GWU in 2008, I was an assistant professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington.
My research interests focus on information security and privacy, databases and data mining, and distributed systems.
I am teaching CSci 387: Data Security & Privacy this fall semester. You are welcome to email me for any question you may have about the course.
