Project Description:

A customer has come to your Engineering Firm and has asked you to design, build and test a circuit board that consists of an audio amplifier. This circuit will be used during the concert to celebrate the opening of new street lights in the City of Light.

The circuit will contain the following:

1. Secondary connections from power transformers
2. Filtered dc power supplies
3. Peamplifer for microphone
4. Power amplifier
5. Connections for input and output signals

Specifications

1. Output power: 1 W_rms minimum into 8 Ohm speaker
2. Two inputs:
• Z_in: greater than 500 Ohm
• Sensitivity: 10 mV_rms minimum
• Z_in: greater than 40 Ohm
• Sensitivity: 170 mV_rms minimum
3. Frequency response: 50 Hz ~ 15 kHz @ 3 dB 

 Testing

 You must demonstrate your product to the customer and verify that it meets all of the above specifications.

Documentation

You must provide a complete product report to the customer. (You can keep your product. The customer will decide which engineering firm should receive the contract.)
