Amplifier Design Specifications

• V_cc = +12 V dc
• V_ee = - 12 V dc
• Z_in greater than 40 kOhms
• P_out = 0.25 W_rms into a 8 Ohm speaker

Objectives

1. Show all design calculations
2. Build and test a Class A amplifer and prove you met all the specified parameters
3. Provide static and dynamic power dissipation measurements of the amplifier.
4. Repeat the above steps for class AB amplifier.
