Linear Power Supply Design Specifications
- Vout = 5 V DC.
- Vin = 110 VAC.
- Iout = 1 A DC maximum.
- Short circuit protection.
- Ripple Rejection less than 20 mV p-p
- Load Regulation: Greater than 4.75 V dc at maximum rated current
Objectives I
- Show all design calculations.
- Design, build and test a linear power supply.
- Verify that you met all the specified design specifications.
- Calculate the power efficiency.
