Request for Proposals (RFPs)...
List of Requests for Proposals (RFP) for Emergency Management Projects
By Kurt Ettenger

1) Solicitation Number: DACW64-02-T-0010
Contracting Office:  US Army Corps of Engineers
Description - The U.S. Army Corps to Engineers, Galveston District, intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price Service Contract to Dannenbaum Engineering Corporation (DEC) Pursuant to the Authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1) only one Responsible Source to perform Hydrologic Modeling for the Clear Creek General Reevaluation Report (GRR).  Award is sole source because DEC has recently completed model construction and calibration for the Clear Creek GRR. This work is a follow-on contract.
DEC produced the 1992 Clear Creek Regional Flood Control Plan and performed hydrologic modeling to define the existing Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) flood plains. DEC was selected to produce the Clear Creek hydrology for the new FEMA Harris County flood plan study. The scope of work includes a Hydrologic Modeling Task. This task is a direct continuation of recent work performed by DEC to establish parameter sets, build and calibrate models, and compute existing conditions flood risks along Clear Creek.
