Graded Work:
Recall this discussion in the SEAS1/CSci 41 page:
The first and second half will be graded separately, then the two halves
combined for a final grade. The first half work includes:
-
three reports, each worth 15%, 45% total
-
four lab exercises, each worth 5%, 20% total
-
one exam (Oct. 20), 25%
-
lecture, retreat, and Metro trip attendance, 10%
Second half details will depend upon the second-half lecturer. For SEAS
1 students, the halves are combined equally. For CSci 41 students, it will
be 33% first half, 67% second half.
Second-Half Information:
Your second-half grades will be computed from your lab grades (45%),
your final exam (45%), and your class attendance (10%).
-
You receive full credit for a lab if you show up and do productive work
there.
-
The final exam will be open-book and cover the reading material, the labs,
and the class discussions.
-
The final exam will take place Wednesday, Dec. 20, 11:00 AM, in the usual
lecture room. It will last at most two hours; you will receive more guidance
in class.
