"The National Advisory Council assists the Dean of the School of
Engineering and Applied Science to review concerns within the school,
working with the Dean to enhance the image and quality of the education
offered to GWs engineering and applied science students.
The National Advisory Council (NAC), which consists of School of
Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) graduates and business leaders
in engineering-related fields, speaks to classes, initiates corporate
internship possibilities, and reflects upon the structure of the curriculum
and critiques the marketability of SEAS students upon graduation.
NAC members belong to a leadership board of global focus, with a
bottom line interest in engineering-related products and designs,
and a commitment to see The George Washington University's School
of Engineering and Applied Science successfully equip itself and its
students for the future as well as the present."
