lisa jennings

Lisa Jennings is an experienced administrator who has developed retention and outreach programs for collegiate students and professionals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields for over 12 years. She has held progressively responsible leadership positions in academic advising and program development from the start of her career at Howard University in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Computer Sciences, to the Gates Millennium Scholars Program, and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). She holds a master of education degree in higher education administration from The George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development, where the focus of her research interests was high performing student populations; a master of arts degree in literature from The American University; and a bachelor of arts degree from Howard University. She has also completed graduate teaching courses in English education and language arts at Columbia University.

kristin pallister

Kristin Pallister is the professional advisor for students in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and the Computer Science Department. Kristin completed her bachelor of science in biomedical engineering at GW, and is currently pursuing her master of science in the same field. During her undergraduate career, she was an active member of Alpha Omega Epsilon and SEAS SPAN. In addition to her day-to-day work advising students academically, she has started a professional development series for SEAS students and co-founded a chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) on campus.
