    BITS

    Mobile App Development Internship

    BITS is an 8(a) certified small business working as a government contractor in the IT sector. BITS is looking for a full time/part time Mobile Application Development Intern with 2-4 years of mobile developer experience with knowledge of Android, and preferably knowledge of iOS and Windows Mobile. Development would be primarily for an Android app created from an existing web application. Internship would be paid and compensated appropriately. Intern would be expected to commit from mid-June to mid-August. Most work would take place on-site, although some off-site work may be asked of the developer.     NASA DEVELOP Internship

    DEADLINE TO APPLY: July 3, 2015

    The NASA DEVELOP Program is currently recruiting for the Fall 2015 term. This is a 10-week paid contracting position open for current students, recent college graduates, and career transitioning professionals including veterans of the Armed Forces.

    Details about the internship and how to apply can be found at http://develop.larc.nasa.gov/. The fall online application deadline is July 3rd. The fall program dates are September 14 – November 20, 2015. This program has three terms: Spring, Summer, and Fall -- the term dates and application windows are updated on the “Apply” page of the DEVELOP website. In addition to Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD; there are many other locations across the United States that you can find on the "About" page.

    Public Service Fellows Program

    The Public Service Fellows Program at the Partnership for Public Service is an opportunity for undergraduate students, graduate students and recent graduates to participate directly in transforming the way government works while developing valuable professional skills.

    Fellows are assigned substantive and meaningful work to support our wide variety of programs, events and projects to help revitalize the federal government. True to the Partnership’s emphasis on people, the fellows program incorporates opportunities for professional and personal growth through workshops and trainings specifically geared toward students and young professionals. We also strive to ensure a quality experience in terms of work and personal relationships throughout the fellowship term. Fellows also receive the following stipends:

    *Full-time fellows with an undergraduate or graduate degree receive $1000 per month.

    *Full-time fellows who are currently undergraduate students receive $800 per month.

    *Stipends for part-time fellows will be pro-rated accordingly.

    Fall 2015 applications for the Knowledge in Action Career Internship Fund are being accepted through July 1 (by 11:59pm EST).

    The GW Career Services Council established the Knowledge in Action Career Internship Fund (KACIF) to encourage GW students to pursue high-quality, necessarily unpaid internships that foster their career exploration and enhance their academic program, while reducing the financial challenges associated with unpaid internships.
