The GW Engineering Hall of Fame recognizes alumni of the School of Engineering and Applied Science at The George Washington University, as well as faculty, staff, and friends who during their careers have made sustained and meritorious contributions to engineering/technology and/or management. These individuals bring distinction to GW through their significant achievements, and contributions to their professions, the University, and society-at-large.

Sponsored and selected by the Engineer Alumni Association, the Engineer Alumni Achievement Award was established in 1971 to recognize SEAS alumni who have made noteworthy achievements in their chosen careers.

Engineer Alumni Service Award

Sponsored and selected by the Engineer Alumni Association, the Engineer Alumni Service Award was established in 1972 to recognize those alumni of SEAS who have contributed generously of their time to the Engineer Alumni Association, the School of Engineering and Applied Science, and The George Washington University.

The Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award is the highest form of recognition given on an annual basis by the University and The George Washington Alumni Association to an alumnus. Each recipient has made a lasting impact on society though outstanding professional, voluntary or philanthropic accomplishments.

The Distinguished Alumni Service Award is awarded to those alumni who advance the mission of the University through dedicated volunteer efforts in support of its programs, thereby ensuring the University’s impact on our community and future generations of students.
